About
Hello and thank you for visiting my site. I’m Nick, a self-taught photographer based in New York City. I find inspiration in the city’s streets, diverse neighborhoods, and dynamic people. Without formal training, I discovered my passion for photography while walking the city streets and through travel. I taught myself through trial, error, and hours of exploration.
Over time, I discovered the work of renowned photographers like Ernst Haas, Saul Leiter, Alex Webb, and Vivian Maier to name a few. Their bold use of color, masterful understanding of light, and ability to capture fleeting, poetic moments has profoundly influenced my creative perspective.
When I’m not documenting NYC’s daily rhythm, I enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures and discovering how people live in different parts of the world. I’m at a point in my photography journey where I find myself experimenting with different techniques and challenging myself to capture fresh perspectives.
To me, photography is more than an art form; it’s a therapeutic release and a way to connect, understand, and share the world as I see it.
